My name is Kyle Barry Fisher and I have had a passion for imagery my entire life.
It started at a young age. Looking through my families old photos and seeing time captured in a single frame. The happiness, frustration, laughter, heartbreak; it was, and still is, truly captivating. I was hooked.
Throughout my high school years my addiction to imagery only increased. I watched endless amounts of films, learned how to use a proper 35mm film camera, experienced the joy in the meticulous process that is the dark room, and read books about photography and how to hone the craft.
I followed this addiction to imagery to Sheridans Institute of Design and Technology where I enrolled, and graduated with honours, in Media Arts in 2012. This portion of my life was vitally important to honing the craft of capturing that perfect image.
While my output of work as of late has left me wanting, the passion never died. It laid dormant. Lost in a cacophony of the mundane. Only recently have I found myself becoming truly excited with renewed vigour to increase my creative output. To challenge myself. To make difficult choices. To work through hard times even when all my energy has been depleted. Through this site I hope to share my passion with the world.
I don’t know if I’ll ever take a perfect photograph or capture an actors performance exactly how I envision it in my mind, but I’m going to try.
